“To create sustainable income opportunities and skill development programs for economically weaker sections”
At QFK Reformer, we view livelihood as more than economic activity it reflects the social, cultural and environmental dimensions that shape how individuals and families sustain themselves with dignity. Livelihoods form the bridge between education, wellbeing and long-term stability, enabling people to secure life’s essentials such as income, security and self-reliance.
Through QFK Skills & Livelihood, we create opportunities that equip individuals with practical skills and confidence to earn and grow. As part of our Skill Development Programme, we have initiated vocational training for women at the QFK Skill Centre, enabling them to learn, earn and contribute meaningfully to their households. These efforts build on earlier educational and empowerment initiatives, helping transform learning into sustainable economic outcomes.
Looking ahead, we aim to expand this initiative to reach a wider segment of the community, including both women and men who remain unemployed or underemployed due to limited access to skills and opportunities. Planned training programmes include computer education, stitching, embroidery, crafts, carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanics and tailoring providing diverse pathways for employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship.
By strengthening livelihoods, we do more than improve economic conditions. We enhance overall wellbeing, reduce vulnerability and support families in planning for a more secure future. Through QFK Skills & Livelihood, our mission is to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to build a life grounded in dignity, stability and shared prosperity.
