At QFK Reformer, we believe that empowering women is essential to building strong, resilient, and thriving communities. Women play a central and transformative role within families and society and when they are supported with knowledge, skills and opportunities, the impact extends across generations.

We actively reach out to women and girls who have had limited or no access to formal education. Many were married at an early age and some are already mothers, yet they continue to aspire for learning and self-growth opportunities often interrupted by family responsibilities and financial constraints. Recognising education as a foundation for dignity and independence, we provide basic educational programmes that help women rebuild confidence, strengthen decision making abilities and lead self-respecting lives.

Alongside education, we focus on skill development as a pathway to economic independence. Through QFK Women Empowerment, women are encouraged to acquire practical skills that enable them to contribute meaningfully to their household income while balancing family responsibilities. These efforts not only support individual growth but also reinforce household stability and community wellbeing.

We have initiated vocational training programmes in stitching, embroidery, handicrafts, cooking and essential life skills, enabling women to translate learning into livelihood opportunities. To date, approximately 500 women have benefited from basic education and vocational training through QFK Skill Centre. With growing demand for such skills, we are continuously working to introduce additional vocational options that enhance financial stability and expand opportunities for more women.

Our support extends beyond training by encouraging long term self-reliance and economic participation. By enabling women to earn, grow and lead with confidence, we help strengthen families and foster communities that are more adaptive, inclusive and resilient. Through our commitment to women’s empowerment, we aim to create a lasting ripple effect one that nurtures equity, dignity and prosperity for present and future generations.
